Cresskill Performing Arts brings a caring, professional teaching staff to the Northern Valley! All our teachers have extensive teaching credentials as well as performing experience. We believe that you and your children deserve the best teachers available, whether you are taking class for fun and exercise or with a future career in mind. The teaching staff at Cresskill Performing Arts have credits ranging from college degrees in dance and psychology to National Tours and Broadway musicals, and they teach at New York City's finest studios. Our teachers include: Kirsten Kenny, Joy Carlson, Annie Ellertsen, Maureen Straub, Natasha Del'Elmo, Laurena Barros and Betsy Daly.
Our expanded class schedule includes Ballet, Jazz, Funk Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Musical Theater, Acting and Voice. New this year: Broadway Song Time, and Creative Choreography & Audition class, along with our Hip-Hop & Jazz Performing Troupe. Performance opportunities include a Work-in-Progress show in December, yearly Spring Recital in June, and outreach shows for charity throughout the year. Director Betsy Daly and the staff have created lots of excitement in the community as we provide local students, age 2-1/2 to adult, with the talents of the larger metropolitan area's best instructors. The emphasis is on individual growth in a non-competitive environment...fun and inspiration guaranteed!
