Dance, Theater, Acting, Fencing, Arts/Crafts Class Schedule
NOTE: We keep our classes small, with lots of personal attention. Should your class choice be full, call us for options: we may open a new class for you! Kindly contact us for current information. Note: in registering for a class, you are paying for your space inthe class, not for individual classes. With the exception of workshop classes, adult classes, arts/crafts classes, and private lessons, you are responsible for tuition for the school year.

Class Descriptions
Once Upon A Time(age 4 - 7) Part reading readiness, part arts and crafts, this class focuses on a read aloud fairy tale that is then acted out by the participants. There is a follow-up craft activity that always involves tons of hands-on fun.
Kids Concoctions to Make and Take (age 8 - 12) An hour filled with your "not so typical" craft concoctions. These students make and take a wide variety of items including marbleized pencils, tie-dye shirts, balloon baskets, and juggling balls just to name a few.
Princess Dance (2-1/2 - 3 year olds) With lots of game playing, our youngest dancers learn how to take dance class with ballet & creative movement designed just for them!
BrainWorks (age 3 - 6) This special class, for both boys & girls, combines music, movement, kinesiology, and playing rhythm instruments.
Ballet Beginnings (age 4) Students learn to express themselves with grace, mastering basic ballet positions, using props and imagination.
Preballet (age 5 - 7) The continuation of this traditional dance form includes barre, center & across the floor for our young ballerinas.
Intro to Jazz & Tap (age 5 - 7) Enhance your child's physical development with the coordination of jazz & tap...lots of fun included.
Intro to Hip-Hop (age 5 - 8) A dance class for a new generation: combine upbeat music with coordination, rhythm, and dance terminology.
Tap 3/4, 4/5 Teen/Adult Inter. Tap: Depending on experience and level, get your rhythm on and make some noise!
Theater Games, Acting (age 5 - 9) This is a great way to start "acting" class. Sensory exercises, improvisation, music & movement are all part of expanding the self-confidence & imagination!
Preteen Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced Ballet (age 8 - 16) Continuing their training, students work on vocabulary through more advanced movement, focusing on clean technique.
Preteen Modern: Modern dance, with elements from jazz, Native American dance, "free dance," and more, this expressive dance form focuses on flexibility, coordination, strength, and body awareness to allow freedom of expression. Floor work and bare feet are paramount!
Jazz/Funk 1/2, Preteen/Teen Funk Jazz: Sandwiched right between jazz & hip-hop, this class includes work on dance technique as well as funky style.
Preteen Hip-Hop/Teen/Adult Hip-Hop: Dance for the MTV generation, well-edited current music and the latest dance moves are mastered while having fun.
Preteen/Teen Theater Dance & Preteen/Teen Broadway Dance: These are jazz classes focusing on dance styles used in musicals, both onstage and in film. These performers also use their voices & acting skills, working on the "triple threat."
Broadway Song Time (age 8 - 14) A group musical theater class, we focus on singing for both voice and acting technique, "putting it together" for musical theater performance.
Intro to Musical Theater, Musical Theater Workshop, Broadway Workshop: From our youngest (4 years) through teens, we sing, act, and dance...become a "triple threat," learning what it takes to put on a show!
Preteen/Teen Creative Choreography: For students bursting with creativity, we challenge them to invent choreography, combine acting with music, and tell stories through performing.
Preteen/Teen Acting: Exercises for the actor, including preparation students need to succeed with monologues & scenes. Costume pieces, props, and lots of imagination required!
DRESS CODE Princess Dance, Ballet Beginnings: Any leotard with pink tights, pink ballet slippers.
Intro to Jazz & Tap, Intro to Hip-Hop, all Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop and Theater Dance classes: Any leotard or dance top with black dance pants or leggings. Appropriate dance shoes: jazz, tap, hip-hop, bear paws for Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary.
Ballet classes: Pink or black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers.
Hair should be pulled off the face neatly for all classes. No jewelry in class, please. Boys wear a white t-shirt and black jazz pants with appropriate dance shoes. Students may purchase dance clothes & shoes at Cresskill Performing Arts.
Payment Options* Option A: Payment in Full This option includes full tuition, $68 costume fee per class, and $40 registration fee per family per year.

Option B: Monthly This option includes tuition divided into 9 payments. A $70 costume fee per class and $40 registration fee are paid in the first month. Example: For 1 class per week, the first month is $259; all remaining payments are $72 (through May, NO June payment). Call for specific monthly tuition information.
